Topden exams were much delayed, and he completed them in March 2024.
He then looked for an internship, which he found at Amritsar Eye Clinic in Dehradun, starting in April.
To finish his degree he has to complete 12 months of internship, then submit a thesis on some aspect of optometry.
The internship is an important step. In Topden’s words at the time:
“Now the time has finally come to explore and learn more things practically.
I am very much excited and energetic to join my internship from tomorrow.”
We wish him the best of luck over this coming period.
