Karina passed her Year 12 exams in spring 2021, having completed her last year at Dr Grahams. Now, despite all the difficulties of lockdown, she has managed to organise herself an undergraduate place at Nar Bahadur Bhandari Government College (NBBGC).

She is studying for a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), her ambition being to qualify as an accountant. Classes started on the 15th November 2021, but for now are online, so she is studying at home in Buriakhop. To make this easier we have organised a Hewlett Packard laptop for her, through Amazon India.

Founded in 1977, the college is affiliated to Sikkim University. It is located in Tadong near Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. When classes move to “offline” (ie in person), Karina will move to lodgings in Tadong, the cost of which we will help with.

This is an exciting time for her, and we wish her very well. Here she is with her mom.
