In December Topden approached us about more support during the period working up to his High School (year 12) exams and the NEET, the medical college entrance exam he will sit in May 2019. After careful thought, we agreed. Starting in December, he is spending 3 months at Casuarina Scholars in Siliguri, which specialise in top-up courses at the end of the school year. He will be living in Siliguri, West Bengal for the duration of the course. We agreed because the NEET is a very difficult exam, and we wanted to give him every chance of success. We know that he is motivated and works very hard. We are confident he will make the most of the opportunity, which is why we agreed to fund the course.

CHANGE A LIFE TODAY

The Children of Sikkim exists to support the education of disadvantaged children from Sikkim, in the Himalaya, NE India.

We are a UK registered charity which helps such children to be educated in Sikkim and elsewhere in India, from primary school through to college or university.

We give a young person continuity of support so as to allow them to achieve their potential.
